Tax rates
Settings → Tax rates, owner-only. These rates appear in the tax dropdown on invoice lines.
Adding a rate

Press Add tax rate.
One rate can be the default. Setting a new default clears the previous one.
Rates on invoices
Selecting a rate on a line stores that rate on the line. Later changes in settings do not alter existing invoices.
Tax is calculated per line, on the line's value after its discount, rather than on the invoice subtotal. Invoices can mix rates across lines.
Changing a rate
To change a rate, add a new one and set it as the default. New lines use it, and existing invoices are unchanged.
Archiving
Press Archive and confirm. An archived rate:
- no longer appears in the dropdown on new lines
- remains in the list, marked with its archive date
- remains in effect on invoices that used it
Rates cannot be deleted.
